Design study

Independent, unofficial concept site for Dokpa Garment. Every fact on this sheet is supplied or externally listed and is awaiting owner confirmation. Nothing here has been published or sent.

Ask the company, not this study

This sheet has no form and no send button, because a static page cannot deliver a message and pretending otherwise would be the one dishonest thing on an otherwise careful dossier. The routes below go straight to the details in the supplied profile material.

A Routes

Before you travel

Two things about the address are unsettled, and both are worth a phone call first. The ward is given as 9 in the supplied material and as 8 in an independent listing, and this study does not know which is right. No opening hours are published here at all, because the only time found anywhere could not be corroborated.

B Your message

Things you may want to put in your own message

The list below is a prompt for the visitor, not a menu of services. Dokpa Garment has not told this study what it does or does not take on, so nothing here should be read as something the company offers. It is simply the information that tends to make a first reply useful rather than a round of questions.

  • Which garment you are asking about. The dossier sheet numbers every observation and names the photograph behind it, so pointing at one, for example the olive parka or the off white jacket with the dark chest panel, removes most of the ambiguity.
  • What you actually need to know. Materials, sizes, availability and anything commercial are all unpublished on this study, so they can only be answered by the company.
  • Whether you are writing as an individual or on behalf of an organization. It changes what a useful answer looks like.
  • Where you are writing from. Anything involving distance is easier to answer when the starting point is known.
  • How you prefer to be reached, and in which language. Telephone and email are both listed above.
  • That you found the details on an unofficial design study. Worth saying, because it explains why you may be asking to confirm the address, and it gives the company a chance to correct it.

If you are the owner of Dokpa Garment, the most useful reply would settle six things: the correct spelling of the business name, the correct ward and full postal address, the real working hours, whether the referenced web address is yours and live, whether the telephone number and email address above should be published at all, and which of the supplied photographs may be shown.

C Closing plate
A blue grey hooded jacket laid on a wooden table beside a calculator and a flask
Plate 00, repriseThe same frame the cover opens on. A garment on a table in a working room, photographed by someone who was there. Everything on this study that is worth anything comes from photographs like this one, and everything that would need a document is left blank.

What would change if the company replied

Most of this dossier would stay exactly as it is. The observations are drawn from photographs and would not move. What would change is the grading: fields currently marked unresolved could be filled, the supplied address could become confirmed rather than supplied, and the ward conflict could be closed by the only party able to close it.

Until then this remains a design study, and every page says so on its face.
